Jiahong Heat Resistant Cable is a kind of twin-conductor constant wattage heating cable. It is a well pre-assembled heating cable. It is designed for the sole use of preventing plastic or metal water pipes from freezing and keep the liquid flowing down to -40oC. It is popular in both America and Europe. In Europe, the regular types are 12w/m. and 15w/m. And the type of 7w/ft. is popular in America market.

Jiahong Heat Resistant Cable heats up through the inner heating conductor and it cannot be cut at any circumstances. Different parts cannot overlap each other as well. The cable may work under the rated voltages of 120Vac or 240Vac, or 230Vac. The maximum ambient temperature is 85°F (30oC) and the minimum installation temperature is 15°F (-10oC).

Jiahong Heat Resistant Cable consists of three different parts: the heating cable, cold lead, and an integrated thermostat. The cold lead shall connect to the plug and the heating cable provides the heat. The cold lead is a regular electric wire with plug. Both European standard plugs and North American standard plugs are available. The integrated thermostat is often mounted at the end of the complete cable. It works normally when ambient temperate ranges from 3oC to 10oC. It saves on energy consumption.

Jiahong Heat Resistant Cable can work normally for more than 10 years and it has 3 years warranty. Every heating cable has already been approved by UL, ETL, and CSA in North America, and by CE and TUV in Europe.

The Heating Cable contains several components such as inner nylon filler, alloy resistance wire, XLPE insulation, aluminum shield, tinned shield and PVC out jacket. Alloy resistance wire is the core element and it is both its conductor and heating element. Nylon filler is used as a carrier for the resistance wire. Nylon filer is required to withstand 200oC high temperature, so it would not burn out if the thermostat works normally. The aluminum shield has an important function that fixes the two conductors and this is the benefit for weaving the tinned copper shield. Braid strengths and structure shields electromagnetic radiation generated inside. Meanwhile, it provides ground protection as well. Safe and zero EMF (electromagnetic fields) structure design is very important for a floor heating system. The outer jacket is often made of 100% water-proof materials. PVC is an affordable and durable material that is widely accepted by international brands.

Jiahong Heat Resistant Cable is simple and easy to install because it has a flat double-conductor structure design. However, different parts of the cable never overlap each other during the installation. Double-conductor can be seen as a complete wire because the two conductors are connected together at one end. Each Jiahong Heat Resistant Cable has a specific length. Most customers may choose some regular sizes from us according to their practical power demands. The length ranges from 2 to 25 meter are common in the European markets and 3 to 80ft are popular in the American markets.
