Jiahong Electric Heat Cable is a kind of residential grade twin-conductor Defrost Snow Heating Cable. It is designed to provide a flexible option for melting snow and ice on driveways, stairways, and other large open areas, as well as odd-shaped areas. The Electric Heat Cable is easily installed for use with concrete, paver, asphalt or tile. This cable has been developed together with European Brands, and it has already been working stably for more than 25 years. The popular model is 28w/m.
Jiahong Electric Heat Cable heats up through inner conductor. The conductor is also its heating resistance. The whole cable is a complete series of resistance, so it cannot be cut at any circumstances. Rated voltage is 230V. The cable shall have the continuous working temperature up to 30°C and the minimum installation temperature of 40°F (5°C). Meanwhile, it is ultra-low EMF (electromagnetic field) by design. The twin conductor structure supports single point connection. Every Jiahong Heat Cable is rigorously tested before packing. Also, they have been approved by CE and EAC.

The cold lead is a 10ft (3m) regular electric wire with a plug.
And heating cable has 4 layers.
The inner conductor is made of tinned copper.
The resistance of this tin plated copper is determined by its shape and length and rarely affected by the ambient temperature.
So it is the ideal material for the heating conductor.
The inner conductor insulation is made of XLPE which is an environmentally friendly material.
It can be replaced with Fluoropolymer.

The screen layer is a piece of aluminum foil that can absorb 100% of electromagnetic radiation.
