Dalian Metro Line 5

Dalian Metro Line 5 is the sixth completed and operational metro line in Dalian, Liaoning Province, and the first cross-sea subway line in Northeast China. It commenced operations on March 17, 2023. Dalian Metro Line 5 starts at Hutan Xinqu Station, passes through Zhongshan District, Xigang District, and Ganjingzi District, traverses various areas such as Dalian Tiger Beach Ocean Park, Labor Park, Qingniwaqiao Business District, Dalian Station, Dalian Suoyuwan Football Stadium, Suoyuwan Urban Subcenter, and Houyan Transportation Hub, and terminates at Houguan Station. The line has a total length of 24.484km, all underground, with 18 underground stations. As of May 2023, the highest daily passenger volume on Dalian Metro Line 5 was 182,700 on May 1, 2023.

Jiahong New Material is mainly involved in the fire protection and insulation of firefighting and water supply and drainage pipelines in this project. This project is the first general contracting project that includes construction in the rail transit industry for Jiahong New Material. It has accumulated a wealth of project management experience for the company and provided strong performance support for future bidding in the rail transit industry.
